The cost of RFR’s first phase of the project is estimated at 550 million Euro
( including rolling stock) , will be financed as follows:

  • 40% Government budget
  • 60% External loans( AFD, kfw,EIB,EU)

RFR has signed at this level some financial conventions with donors for a total amount of 227.6 million Euro, including 28 million Euro as a
grant from the European Community under the investment facility neighborhood
